Some people love to say that time is money. According to them, time is nothing but a resource for making money. In today’s material world it can really seem like that’s the case, but I know for a fact that so many people are struggling with this concept and with its implications on their lives, … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 126: Time is Not Money

500 WORDS, DAY 105: Less is More
Less is more. I mean, it’s not always the case, but it certainly applies to a vast number of situations, and it’s a wise saying that I think more people should take time to consider. The problem is that the fact that less is often more isn’t always obvious to us, since we’ve grown up … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 105: Less is More
500 WORDS, DAY 86: Today: A Moment in Time.
Here I am once again. Drinking a cup of iced coffee while writing for today’s post. Listening to Hiroshi Yoshimur’s ‘Green’ album. I’ve been listening to a whole bunch of ambient music I never knew existed during the past few years, and it’s really become one of my favorite musical genres. There are so many … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 86: Today: A Moment in Time.
500 WORDS, DAY 76: Happiness
I always thought happiness was something that could be complicated, but which didn’t necessarily need to be. These days however, I’m starting to think that the uncertainty and what some might call overall absurdity of life, perhaps do create a world in which happiness unfortunately does have to be complicated. Maybe that’s the way it … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 76: Happiness
500 WORDS, DAY 36: Every Second is a Sacrifice
As we go deeper into this topic of time, its limited nature, and what could be the ideal way of making use of it, it might seem like we are getting nowhere, like there is no final conclusion being reached. While I would say it’s true that it’s almost impossible for a definite conclusion to … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 36: Every Second is a Sacrifice
500 WORDS, DAY 32: The Price of an Hour of Your Life
Yesterday I interrupted the topic we’ve been exploring in order to post about my newest musical release, ‘Exceedingly Dope Things, Vol. 1’, which is a collaboration project I recently worked on with over twenty fellow rappers and producers from Reddit’s r/makinghiphop community. It turned out great, if I do say so myself, so if you … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 32: The Price of an Hour of Your Life
500 WORDS, DAY 28: Time vs. Money
So, having already mentioned my issues with sticking to any one pursuit in life, having too many options and just seeing way too many possibilities, more than I could ever compare and therefore decide between, I think I have to write about something which has also been an issue for me throughout my life, which … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 28: Time vs. Money
500 WORDS, DAY 7: How Much Creativity Is Too Much?
we were inquiring into the mind of a very creative person, someone who has trouble focusing their time and attention on one sole project, maybe not in the short term, but more throughout the years and when it comes to the general direction, or lack thereof, of their lives. Is such a person simply lacking in organizational skills? Would they benefit from limiting themselves and trying to steer their lives in one specific direction? Should this person sacrifice multiple interests that catch their attention in order to focus on one specific interest only? Well, I guess it depends on why they are interested in it in the first place. If you are doing it because you love it then you shouldn’t have to sacrifice anything else.
500 WORDS, DAY 3: An Interaction That Corrupts
This is my third daily post of 500 words. It continues the topic I started on Day 1, so if you are interested you can start there or on Day 2. … Another thing which I see in the same way is music. Music is therapy for me, both listening to it and creating it. … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 3: An Interaction That Corrupts
1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 51: Working Back Home and Abroad.
I'm at work at the moment. Normally we don't have internet connection here to access sites not related to the job itself, but I just randomly tried to get on WordPress today and it worked, and there's a lot of free time in between calls, so it's a perfect moment for me to get started … Continue reading 1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 51: Working Back Home and Abroad.
