These past few days I’ve been writing about my journey into hardware-based music production these past few years, and how it’s totally reignited my love and passion for music production in an unexpected way. I’ve mentioned that it all started with switching from FL Studio on the PC, which had been my main tool for … Continue reading DAY 166: Hardware-Based Music Production (Part 6)

Day 165: Hardware-Based Music Production (Part 5)
These past few days I’ve been describing my journey into hardware-based music production over the past few years. I’ve been producing music for over a decade. I started out on the PC, using FL Studio and various VSTs like Nexus, Serum, and Omnisphere. It wasn’t until a few years back that I decided to finally … Continue reading Day 165: Hardware-Based Music Production (Part 5)
500 WORDS, DAY 59: Rearranging My Home Studio
It’s been a busy couple of days. My wife and I have been restructuring our room/home studio. We’re both extremely happy with the results so far, and after almost three days of moving stuff around and all over the place, throwing out trash, cleaning up, and everything in between, it’s finally starting to look like … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 59: Rearranging My Home Studio
NEWEST RELEASE: ‘back to the beats’ vol. 1 (2011) (500 WORDS, DAY 5)
This is the third edition of my ‘back to the beats’ series, the medium I’ve finally chosen to get all of my rap beats out, meaning beats of mine that have a rap track structure, usually consisting of an intro, a couple verses and hooks, and an outro section. I have way too many dope beats just sitting on my hard drive since I don’t really rap as often as I produce, beats dating all the way back to 2011 when I was only 17, and listening back on them it just felt like a shame to keep them all only for myself to listen to.
“Rebel Spirit,” My First Album on Streaming Platforms.
I had been in my birth country of Honduras at the time of my 2 previous solo rap releases, in 2017 for Musical Alchemy and in 2019 for Expanding our Horizons, and during the time I was there I got the chance to work on some music that didn't really fit the feel of either … Continue reading “Rebel Spirit,” My First Album on Streaming Platforms.
DAY 31 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
I really wish I had done my writing earlier today, I gotta stop leaving it for the night. I've been thinking about that, just because I don't want to rush my writing, but now I've got another great reason to actually write earlier. I sit here with a massive, pounding headache, wishing I could just … Continue reading DAY 31 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
DAY 15 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
My favorite way of making music is on the MPC One. When I first started my music journey at eleven or twelve years old I started with FL Studio, since I was just a kid with a laptop and not a lot of money saved up that I could spend on gear. I had fun … Continue reading DAY 15 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
DAY 10 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
DAY 10, nice! Only have to do ten days nine more times to get to a hundred. My record right now is 81 days straight, if I'm not mistaken. This time I don't only plan to beat that, I plan to go for as long as I can, until the end of my days if … Continue reading DAY 10 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
DAY 4: Getting My YouTube channel started (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
Day 4, 1000 words once again! Lately I've been super busy working on different things, and I also can't slack off on my daily blog post! The main thing I've been focusing on lately though has been my YouTube channels. I have two YouTube channels. One of them is my original one, which has just … Continue reading DAY 4: Getting My YouTube channel started (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
DAY 2: 1000 WORDS (3rd attempt)
Day 2, 1000 words, let's go! The main topic I wrote about yesterday was my music and how I'm slowly but surely becoming a much more professional musician, and what I've been doing to make that happen. I mentioned a few things such as mastering making beats on the MPC One, apart from FL Studio, … Continue reading DAY 2: 1000 WORDS (3rd attempt)
