Yesterday I was writing about work, about how it relates to our limited time on this earth and how we choose to spend it, or rather, how we would choose to spend it if we were truly free. I think a lot of people would be surprised at what they could get into if they … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 29: The Inspiration to Live

500 WORDS, DAY 28: Time vs. Money
So, having already mentioned my issues with sticking to any one pursuit in life, having too many options and just seeing way too many possibilities, more than I could ever compare and therefore decide between, I think I have to write about something which has also been an issue for me throughout my life, which … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 28: Time vs. Money
500 WORDS, DAY 2: As long as you wonder, you are a philosopher
Yesterday I mentioned that I don’t know what my reason for writing is, yet I sit and start letting my brain go free and all this philosophical rigmarole starts pouring out. Cool, so what do I do with it? Where should I take it, in what direction exactly? Where was I going with all this anyway? Oh, right, I was explaining that I don't want a career in this, that this is a very deep and personal journey for me, this philosophical and spiritual thing, and that I don't intend to ever leave it behind, even if I never make a dime from it, because it reminds me that I'm truly alive.
DAY 31 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
I really wish I had done my writing earlier today, I gotta stop leaving it for the night. I've been thinking about that, just because I don't want to rush my writing, but now I've got another great reason to actually write earlier. I sit here with a massive, pounding headache, wishing I could just … Continue reading DAY 31 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
DAY 26 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
Day 26 of writing on my blog, nice. It's also my fifteenth or sixteenth day of posting daily beats on Beatstars, and now that I have a decent catalogue of beats I have to start looking into marketing strategies to try to generate sales. One strategy is simply messaging artists and letting them know that … Continue reading DAY 26 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
DAY 19 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
I'm sort of rushing this because I have a half an hour left until midnight. I know I can make it happen though, so here I am. I'm also rendering the YouTube video for my daily beat, as well as setting up my new Arturia Keylab 61 to work with FL Studio. I basically got … Continue reading DAY 19 (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)
1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 65: All Work and No Play Makes Jack A Dull Boy.
Sometimes we think we're the only ones who know how to really live life. We laugh at others who spend time thinking about or working on other things, things we personally could care less about. But we all have things we are interested in, and we all like to spend our time differently. We are … Continue reading 1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 65: All Work and No Play Makes Jack A Dull Boy.
1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 51: Working Back Home and Abroad.
I'm at work at the moment. Normally we don't have internet connection here to access sites not related to the job itself, but I just randomly tried to get on WordPress today and it worked, and there's a lot of free time in between calls, so it's a perfect moment for me to get started … Continue reading 1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 51: Working Back Home and Abroad.
DAY 7: 1,000 WORDS: LOVE, WORK, AND MYSTICISM.
Seventh day of writing and publishing 1000 words. So I started this challenge a week ago now, with a brief explanation about what mainly motivates me to write. On Day 2, finishing up on Day 3, I detailed some of the facts of the country of Honduras, my mother land as well as where I'm … Continue reading DAY 7: 1,000 WORDS: LOVE, WORK, AND MYSTICISM.
DAY 6: 1,000 WORDS: A YEAR AND A HALF WORKING IN CANADA, BEFORE MY WEDDING.
Sixth day of writing and publishing a thousand words. This is the first weekend since I started this challenge for myself, and I had some plans set for today already, so I'm glad I was able to set aside some time in order to write this today, even though weekends are usually real busy for … Continue reading DAY 6: 1,000 WORDS: A YEAR AND A HALF WORKING IN CANADA, BEFORE MY WEDDING.
