Life is constantly changing up on us, and although we don’t always have the time we would like, to do the things we enjoy and to spend time with the people we appreciate, we have to be grateful for every moment and we shouldn’t take anything for granted. We have to keep in mind that no one is static, and everyone is always changing. Things change, situations change, people change, and people drift apart. It might feel like they’re leaving us behind, like they’re making a conscious decision to forget us. We have to remember that that isn’t always the case. Everyone is dealing with something, we’re all going through internal battles that we have to fight through, and we don’t always have time to be mindful of others. It can be very difficult to always be there for those we care about, while at the same time taking care of ourselves and our mental well-being. Life takes many twists and turns, and sometimes it feels like a vast ocean. We have powerful waves of emotions, of ideas, that inspire us and move us forward, but it doesn’t always feel like people are willing to advance with us, to take that next step. Again, it might feel sad and disappointing, but we have to be ourselves and accept others how they are as well. We can’t force anyone to be a certain way or think a certain way; all we can do is walk confidently our own path. I can’t speak for anyone else, and I don’t claim to be any sort of teacher for the world, because I know there are so many issues going on which I don’t have the slightest idea of how to fix. I feel like a lot of times we know what we should do, and in what direction we should go, but we lose sight of it because we are afraid, and we entertain fear and doubt. We don’t understand why people aren’t there for us, or aren’t as excited as us, for whatever plans we have. However, we can’t let people’s rejection or dismissal discourage us from following what we know is right. We all have our problems, and we’ve all made mistakes we can learn and grow from. We should use these lessons to better our own lives as well as those of the people we care for. We often have more to teach people than we would think, just like there is a lot more to learn from people than we could ever imagine. We all have different backgrounds, different struggles and battles, but they are all very similar in the end. We are all connected by our humanity and by this need to overcome adversity, to move forward in the face of fear and danger. Even though I don’t know you, I know your life is important to you just like mine is to me, and I sincerely wish you the best, as well as success in all your endeavors. No matter what, always remember to stand and fight for what you truly believe in, and don’t let anyone bully you or discourage you into quitting.
