500 WORDS, DAY 8: The Ever-Changing Tides of Human Interest

This is Day 8 of my goal of posting 500 daily words on here. I appreciate any and everyone reading this, and if you’ve been reading these posts from day one then I super appreciate you! Today’s post picks up on yesterday’s topic, exploring the mind of someone who might just be too creative their own good, someone who can’t stick to one thing and follow through with it in the long term, but who is moved, so to speak, by the ever-changing tides of his or her artistic, philosophical, and/or creative interests.

500 WORDS, DAY 7: How Much Creativity Is Too Much?

we were inquiring into the mind of a very creative person, someone who has trouble focusing their time and attention on one sole project, maybe not in the short term, but more throughout the years and when it comes to the general direction, or lack thereof, of their lives. Is such a person simply lacking in organizational skills? Would they benefit from limiting themselves and trying to steer their lives in one specific direction? Should this person sacrifice multiple interests that catch their attention in order to focus on one specific interest only? Well, I guess it depends on why they are interested in it in the first place. If you are doing it because you love it then you shouldn’t have to sacrifice anything else.

500 WORDS, DAY 6: Every Masterpiece Was Once An Idea In Someone’s Mind

This is my sixth day of posting 500 words on my blog. Yesterday I posted about my newest musical release, my instrumental rap album ‘back to the beats vol. 3,’ so this post’s topic will follow from Day 4’s post. If you want to start reading from the beginning of this writing endeavor, check out … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 6: Every Masterpiece Was Once An Idea In Someone’s Mind

DAY 6: Cutting down on weed after more than a decade (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)

Day 6, I hope everyone who reads this is having an amazing day! Today is a sober day for me. I've been trying to cut down on weed for quite a while now, trying different methods, but haven't had much success. I'm not blaming cannabis itself in any way, the issue is personal. I've been … Continue reading DAY 6: Cutting down on weed after more than a decade (1000 WORDS, 3rd attempt)

1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 73: Use Your Talents to Shine A Light.

Life's about sacrifice, you gotta put in work because people's hearts have grown cold as ice. No one is obligated to lend a helping hand, so don't expect anyone to understand. But the trick is to not grow bitter and cold, even as we constantly witness the wicked ways in which life in this world … Continue reading 1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 73: Use Your Talents to Shine A Light.

1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 45: The Incredible Power of Words.

Writing since I recognize the power of words. Nowadays I try to refrain at all times from saying things that are absurd. I question what I hear now, and what I've previously heard. Though I try to live in the moment, not attached to what has already occurred. Words contain power, by the power of … Continue reading 1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 45: The Incredible Power of Words.

1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 34: Why Do You Write?

How can we speak our minds about the most important subjects affecting our world today? People seem to get offended by everything, everyone's statements need to be politically correct. If you don't agree with the majority then there's something wrong with you, or you're branded an enemy of society, of freedom, of equality. Sometimes we're … Continue reading 1,000 WORDS (2nd attempt): DAY 34: Why Do You Write?
