500 WORDS, DAY 12: Infinite Possibilities, Overwhelming Inspiration

This is Day 12 of my current writing experiment, posting at least 500 daily words on my blog. This post follows the topic I wrote about yesterday, which loosely follows the topic I’ve been exploring from the beginning of this writing endeavor, on July 1st. If you want to start reading from the beginning, go … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 12: Infinite Possibilities, Overwhelming Inspiration

500 WORDS, DAY 8: The Ever-Changing Tides of Human Interest

This is Day 8 of my goal of posting 500 daily words on here. I appreciate any and everyone reading this, and if you’ve been reading these posts from day one then I super appreciate you! Today’s post picks up on yesterday’s topic, exploring the mind of someone who might just be too creative their own good, someone who can’t stick to one thing and follow through with it in the long term, but who is moved, so to speak, by the ever-changing tides of his or her artistic, philosophical, and/or creative interests.

500 WORDS, DAY 7: How Much Creativity Is Too Much?

we were inquiring into the mind of a very creative person, someone who has trouble focusing their time and attention on one sole project, maybe not in the short term, but more throughout the years and when it comes to the general direction, or lack thereof, of their lives. Is such a person simply lacking in organizational skills? Would they benefit from limiting themselves and trying to steer their lives in one specific direction? Should this person sacrifice multiple interests that catch their attention in order to focus on one specific interest only? Well, I guess it depends on why they are interested in it in the first place. If you are doing it because you love it then you shouldn’t have to sacrifice anything else.

500 WORDS, DAY 6: Every Masterpiece Was Once An Idea In Someone’s Mind

This is my sixth day of posting 500 words on my blog. Yesterday I posted about my newest musical release, my instrumental rap album ‘back to the beats vol. 3,’ so this post’s topic will follow from Day 4’s post. If you want to start reading from the beginning of this writing endeavor, check out … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 6: Every Masterpiece Was Once An Idea In Someone’s Mind

500 WORDS, DAY 4: Reality as Duality from an Artist’s Perspective

This is my fourth day posting 500 words. The topic loosely follows from what I started writing about on Day 1. If you want to start reading from the beginning of this endeavor, check out DAY 1. If you want to start reading from yesterday’s post, check out DAY 2. … So, about the corruption … Continue reading 500 WORDS, DAY 4: Reality as Duality from an Artist’s Perspective

500 WORDS, DAY 2: As long as you wonder, you are a philosopher

Yesterday I mentioned that I don’t know what my reason for writing is, yet I sit and start letting my brain go free and all this philosophical rigmarole starts pouring out. Cool, so what do I do with it? Where should I take it, in what direction exactly? Where was I going with all this anyway? Oh, right, I was explaining that I don't want a career in this, that this is a very deep and personal journey for me, this philosophical and spiritual thing, and that I don't intend to ever leave it behind, even if I never make a dime from it, because it reminds me that I'm truly alive.
